Yet another fantasy of where I'd love to live....this peaceful design makes me think of lazy summer days at Lake Tahoe, surrounded by beautiful deep blue water, High Sierra peaks, hawks soaring on warm breezes.
A wonderful rug to personalize and hook for your home or vacation cottage. Sized at 16" X 29" with a generous border allowance.
This hand drawn design, from Canadian artist Martina Lesar, comes to you on high-quality primitive linen.
Our wool kits* for our appliqué designs are created especially for each design and are carefully prepared with ample wool to complete your project. The wools in the kit will generally not be the same wools used to stitch the original and are intended to give a look similar to, but not the same as, the original. Keep in mind that the photograph accompanying the pattern is meant as a guide only; your piece will be uniquely your own.
* Please note: Unless noted otherwise in the product description, our kits do not include threads, non-wool fabrics called for in the design, buttons, or other non-wool items.
In The Merry Hooker Woolens studio we constantly look for independant designers who create interesting & exciting designs to add to our pattern catalog. We communicate frequently with our designers and try to add new designs as they become available.
Some of our patterns are produced right here in our studio and some come directly from our designers. All of our patterns are hand drawn on high quality primitive 100% linen that is suitable for a #5 cut strip or larger. Each pattern is carefully inspected for overall quality and to be sure that it is drawn on the straight of grain.
All patterns and photographs available on The Merry Hooker Woolens website are copyright protected and may not be copied, duplicated or reproduced in any form. Rug hooking patterns are intended for one-time use only and may not be reproduced for sale, class or workshop use, personal use or for any other intended use.
Please respect the work of artists and craftsmen by purchasing their designs, allowing them to earn a decent living and making it possible for them to continue creating beautiful designs.
